| Michael and Foreseen Factory

Foreseen Optics began in 1991, when China’s military optical enterprises shifted to civilian production, and Japanese factories sought Chinese OEM partners. Foreseen then started OEM manufacturing for hunting optics.

In 2007, Michael returned and observed the trend of industry consolidation in China. Recognizing the challenge for traditional factories to stay competitive in cost and quality, he founded Foreseen Optics to focus on R&D and manufacturing of hunting optics.

Michael integrated resources across China—optical design in Kunming, lens manufacturing in Sichuan, military expertise in Chongqing, LED electronics in Shenzhen, and CNC machining in Nantong—earning ISO9001 certification. This allows Foreseen Optics to deliver highly competitive hunting optics.

To enhance efficiency and better fulfill diverse customer orders, we positioned our riflescope production in Nantong, telescope production in Kunming, and electronics in Dongguan, leveraging China’s industrial strengths.

Why Are More Outdoor Brands Adding Lightweight Binoculars to Their Product Lines?

Lightweight Design Is Evolving from an Added Selling Point into a Product-Line Strategy In the past, lightweight binoculars were often placed in travel or gift categories as low-cost supplementary products. Today, more outdoor brands are incorporating 8×25, 10×25, 8×30, and 8×32 models into their core product lines. This is not because consumers have suddenly stopped…

8×42, 10×42, or 10×50: How Should Wholesalers Plan Their Product Line?

Define the Role of Each SKU Before Allocating Purchase Volumes For wholesalers, 8×42, 10×42, and 10×50 binoculars should not be stocked in equal quantities. The three specifications serve different needs: mainstream coverage, long-range upgrades, and professional low-light use. Without clearly defined SKU roles, a product line can easily suffer from overlapping price points, slow inventory…

How to Launch Your Own Rifle Scope Brand

A Practical, Customer-Centric Guide for Rifle Scope Distributors, Agents, Gun Stores, and Outdoor Brands What Problems Does This Guide Solve? What Is a Gold Dot Sight, and Why Did It Only Truly Enter the Market in 2026?

As a lead member of the FORESEEN OPTICS red dot sight R&D team, I have spent the past 12 years working through the complete development process, from LED selection, reflector-lens design, drive circuitry, and recoil-resistant structures to mass-production assembly. Among these projects, one of the most underestimated product categories is the Gold Dot Sight. When…

What Red Dot MOA Is Best? Choosing the Right Dot Size for Your Shooting Style

Novice and experienced shooters often struggle with a question: “What red dot MOA is best?” The answer depends on your shooting scenario and usage requirements. A 2 MOA scale offers better accuracy in long-range shooting, while a 6 MOA large scale is more convenient for quickly capturing targets at close range. Nowadays, many optical sights support…
