Company Profile
Michael’s maternal grandfather was a member of China’s first generation of optical practitioners, working at a military factory codenamed 308 until retirement. Michael spent his childhood in the optical factory, where his favorite toys were prisms and slingshots.
In 2007, he observed an important trend in all Chinese industries: a shift towards industrial consolidation. Michael keenly realized that traditional factories could no longer maintain cost and quality advantages across all production stages.
Thus, Michael founded Foreseen Optics, an open factory dedicated to the development and manufacturing of scopes.
Foreseen Optics is guided by two core principles:
- In product development, always remember that a scope is an accessory to a firearm, and it must perfectly adapt to the hunting environment.
- In cost control, do not limit to a single factory but instead fully leverage the advantages of industrial clusters across China.
To achieve this vision, Michael led the Foreseen Optics team in integrating resources from across China: optical design from Kunming, lens manufacturing from Sichuan, military foundations from Chongqing, and LED electronics from Shenzhen, ultimately bringing these advantages together in Nantong. Here, advanced CNC machining equipment and experienced scope manufacturing craftsmen enable Foreseen Optics to offer highly competitive scope products to its customers.
